Many professionals and entrepreneurs immediately think of “profit” as their marker of success. But that’s a misconception. Profit is a consequence of delivering value; it’s not the value itself. What is the essence of what you offer — your product, service, or the need it fulfills for your clients?

Often, you might be drawn to the allure of working with a famous figure, only to find yourself matched with an assistant coach. While some of these coaches can be competent, there’s no guarantee.

Celebrity coaches frequently focus on expanding their business and maximizing profits through their standardized systems, rather than crafting a bespoke strategy tailored to your unique needs.

Remember, one size does not fit all in the world of coaching. Choose a coach who prioritizes your individual goals and provides the personalized guidance you need to succeed.

I’m an early adopter when it comes to technology. However, I don’t adopt technology just for the sake of technology. It has to be practical; it has to work for me and more importantly my clients. It has to make me more communicative, more informative and useful to my clients and their needs. Or it can be just for fun, but admittedly that’s another thing. I’m about human interaction and benefiting my clients and fulfilling their needs, if it does or enhances that, then I’m in.

I was talking to a friend about where I live, which is literally in the middle of a vineyard now. He was saying “Man I want to live my life like you. You decide where you want to live, what you want to do and how you want to do it, and then you do it? You wanted to live in Southern California, so you moved from Northern California, where you were raised, to Newport Beach. Then you wanted to live closer to the Ocean and so you did that. You always wanted to live in Europe, so you moved and lived in Spain for two and half years! Your wife has always wanted to live in a vineyard and now you do.” I hadn’t really thought of it that way, but it is true to an extent.

I think that’s part of why I am who and what I am today, and what makes me innately qualified to help others achieve what they envision for themselves. I’m not just a coach; I’m a product of numerous mentors, wise advice, and the school of hard knocks.
